True, they should have started doing something about it at least a year ago, but so should have all the banks, investment funds, governments, etc. the world should have had a similar reaction as when Russia invaded Ukraine.

MS provides Azure services to many federal governments including Israel. The data storage is encrypted and MS doesn’t have access to the contents. Normally, this storage is used for things like all the data required to run a country.

In this case, Microsoft suspected that it might include the intelligence used in the genocide, so they confronted the Israeli government about that, and didn’t get a satisfactory answer, so made it public.
