I tried replicating this with Google Earth, but once you get past the halfway mark it tries to flip around and draw a line in the other direction. Guestimating it by drawing two lines seems to work ok, but I can’t find a way to avoid Australia, while shifting the start and end points between northern and southern NS and BC, and keeping the midpoint either just missing Africa or just missing Antarctica.

No diesel sub is going to have the range to make that trip. And NZ doesn’t allow nuclear subs in its waters.

Yeah, “limited government” has never been true. They always favoured big government when it comes to interventions in people’s personal lives, including medical decisions, marriage, and what substances you can imbibe. They’ve never cared for reducing the debt, except when Democrats were in charge of it. Law and order & justice have always been a “do as I say, not as I do” type situation. It’s that classic quote:

Minor correction: Blair was from 1997 to 2007, which means if we’re looking at the last 20 years, it’s 2005–2007. Then he’s replaced by Brown, also Labour, until 2010.

I liked it until the end of the Ezio trilogy, though Brotherhood and Revelations felt basically like extra-large DLCs on top of 2, in terms of how they fit in narratively.

But uhh, wtf is up with that bs gatekeeping? The series has obviously changed direction completely since killing off Desmond and undermining the point of its originally-planned story arc, but that doesn’t mean other people can’t like it for different reasons, if they want to.

Like WordPress.com (i.e., without the self-hosted option that is WordPress.org), if there was also waaay less ability to customise your blog’s theme. It’s designed to look and feel much more like a single blog that has many contributors. Maybe think Twitter or Facebook, but using blog posts instead of Tweets and photos as the main medium.
