  • It looks like his words on the topic were focused around the preservation of hardware and the “protection” of U.S. officials do to the known fact that U.S. troops do perform tasks that fall outside legal realms. (Whether under order or not). He focused on saying that it opens the door for private entities to investigate the U.S.'s actions abroad which could fracture the Governments ability to sweep shit under the rug. To me it seems to say, if someone does something horrific, whether they were ordered to or not, the governing bodies of the 2 countries can negotiate a resolution that they think is best for their countries regardless of whom was hurt and the direct effects of individuals who were effected.

Like if the U.S. does a missile strike on Iran supposively aiding Israel, and Iran strikes the U.S. military outposts in the area back, the governments can decide it was tit for tat or some shit, not caring about the individuals murdered in the process, as it helps them long term. Allowing this to go through would in theory allow countries like Iran to use apply similar exceptions so the families/friends/companies could go to their court without reguard of their government and if a bases is found they could launch an investigation. Which ultimately if it was in our government, a lower court would find it legally viable to investigate, and as it went up the appeals courts would get pressure until it was shut down, showing the corruption that justice doesn’t occur for individuals, but rather just protects the whole or just the government officials involved.

  • I would have figured they see it as a point system, and if your below X when the end of times occurs, which is inevitable and of course didnt matter for every generation before or after theirs because they were already dead or yet to be born… they tally up their points. If they judged their neighbor -10 points. Drank a beer, -10 points, listened to rock and roll -10 points. Had sex out of wedlock -100 points. Had sex without trying to make a child -100 points. Lusted for / checked out someone, -50. Vanity, Greed… -75 points. Positives, helping others is really the only way I can think of to increase the score. And a lot more people are complaining about people in traffic than helping people cross the street.

  • Alaska, the place Putin and co signed a decree to investigate whether or not they could make a claim that Alaska was still part of Russia. And Trump thinks Putin is going to fly to Alaska on the assurance that enough of them voted for the felon who likes Putin to not kill him.

That’d be the quickest way to end their invasion. Someone shoots Putin while visiting the U.S. and suddenly their government goes scrambling to fill the vacuum while trying to figure out how not to look weak for not attacking the U.S.

Easiest solution would be for whoever took over there to say the war in Ukraine was Putin’s stupid war and a detriment to Russia and they were better off now that he was dead. Say they will leave to the borders that existed in 2022 with no reperations needed to be paid knowing it would save them having to waste resources trying to hold those lands for decades to come.

Ukraine would probably sign that treaty as well. Hell Trump could sell it as he meant for Putin to get killed and ask for his peace prize. Or if Trump was smart he’d have signed off on the military killing him when the plane landed here.
