  • They don’t want to direct you to the thing you’re searching for anymore because that means you’re off their site quickly. Instead they want to provide themselves whatever it is you were searching for, so you will stay on their site and generate ad money. They don’t care if their results are bad, because that just means you’ll stick around longer, looking for an answer.

  • If I claim I have super powers and there are 0 documented cases of me doing anything super natural,

Is it somehow hard for you to understand that there literally cannot be documented cases of Mossad killing someone and not being linked to it, because as soon as they were documented cases, they would be linked to it?

What theoretical evidence would you even need to believe in them being able to kill someone in secret?

Furthermore, your comparison doesn’t hold water because you’re turning the logic on it’s head. You are the one claiming Clark Kent does not have superpowers because there are lots of documented cases of him taking the bus instead of super-flying to where he wants to be.

  • Should I assume also that Mozambique intelligence carried out a gazillion sophisticated stealth assassinations that none of us has discovered yet?

No, but if you claimed that they never carried out a single one specifically with the argument that none was ever discovered you’d be falling for the same logical fallacy.

Also, compared to Mozambique, you know that Israel has far higher technological capabilities, a certain international backing and is in semi constant war alternating between cold and hot with most of it’s neghbour states, which makes one more likely to have both the need and the means to have successfully carried out secret killings than the other.

Especially since x (too lazy to research right now) assassinations by Mossad were discovered and linked to them, so you know they do kill people. And from there you basically claim they get discovered 100% of the time. Which is ridiculous.

  • The thing you’re wrong about is Star Wars not being political in the actual sense of the word. And it was explained to you by other commenters. And since you’re also implying that art being political is somehow bad, you cannot admit it.

Art has always been political and that’s a good thing. Next to everything we see, say or do in our day to day lives is political. People who present themselves as apolitical are being political, because they promote preserving the status quo and not rocking the boat.

  • That’s another thing: You can certainly buy older, cheaper objects if you’re competent in doing a lot of things yourself. But with rising energy prices, the necessary transition in e.g. heating technology and so on, I wouldn’t be able to do all the work that would be required to get an old house up to a somewhat modern standard where I won’t be actively harming climate and paying out of my nose for gas (or even worse, oil) to stay warm in winter.

  • My idea is to implement a wealth tax rate of 3% on everything above an exempt amount of $10 million, that is to be paid annually.

Not enough. Their fortunes need to actually shrink when above a certain amount. 7%+ is where we need to be to even counter their annual growth.

Accumulating that much wealth isn’t just bad because it’s unfair, it’s bad because it gives them so much influence in politics, economy and society which damages Democracy and markets.

  • Certain groups (funded by dirty energy companies) have pushed an idea that nuclear isn’t Safe

Nuclear isn’t safe. You should still not pick mushrooms in parts of germany because it isn’t. It’s an inherently dangerous technology, which you can only try to mitigate.

Nuclear has been strategically handicapped though because they know it’d destroy their business if it’s able to compete on a level playing field.

Nuclear can only work because it is heavily subsidized. If it had to compete on a level playing field, not a single plant would ever have been built in history, as they are uninsurable on the free market and no investor would touch them with a stick without huge government guarantees.

It’s the most expensive form of power generation there is, and in 2024 with renewables as good as they are it is just plain unnecessary to sink resources into this dead end.
