Having Aphantasia (no minds eye) or Anendophasia (no inner voice) is just a different way of perceiving the world.

Here is an article that show that even though peops have these (I know because I am both) it does not need to affect their lives. I did not even know I had these until my late 50’s. Below is an article that shows this. A quote from the article.

My mother was a British war bride from WW II. It’s been so long, but she used to go on about the Americans and how much they swindled Brits on interest and all sorts of other things with sales from the war for product from us.

Ontario, Canada has had no topless law for many a year now unless it changed recently. Many boobs were showing when it 1st came out and the law against was rescinded. Now all these years later not so many boobs. Guess everyone became meh about it.

I’m still trying to figure out The timeline of when it switched from ice age to global warming. Most likely after scientists figured out the real reason.

I am almost 70. I am very anecdotal, I understand.

In the 80’s after the fake energy scare (gas shortage one) that was all over the news saying we will have an ice age and other lies by the government I no longer listened or believed a word they said.

I tried to tell friends, family and anyone else I could (I was all pumped up after watching Carl Sagan’s Cosmos and his dire message) that we have to take better care of the planet etc. I was laughed at, told to shut the fuck up you stupid hippie and other such stuff. I gave up trying. Did my own thing to help a bit. Never bought new anything like cars, clothes, tech etc. Still the same to this day.

I see the same thing now by the majority of young folks and most others just like back in the day.

Hopefully at some point there will be a major shift in people’s thinking about our planet …

I am an anomaly. I was brought up by my mother, a British WWII war bride who married a Canadian soldier and moved to Canada with him. She would only let me speak the “Queen‘s English“. Oh, and I had to watch Jeopardy every single day for eight years.

I was not even allowed to use contractions.

The worst part was that she never taught me the rules that allowed me to speak very well, but I could not explain how I spoke very well. Got me in quite a bit of trouble when younger.

I guess knowing tense and other stuff exists it saddens me that people are no longer as descriptive and personal as they used to be decades ago.

Just go to any streamer channel. Kick, Twitch YouTube and you will see how most americans trash the English language. I understand that language evolves, but come on now. Worst is tense. They have no clue of what past, present and future tense is in speaking English.

All too much move along if you ask me. Will one just move on as it get worse and worse?
