Living in a country with MANDATORY five weeks vacations and basically unlimited sick timeout (during which you cannot be fired BY LAW) I find extremely alien and disgusting the whole concept of ‘accrued PTO’

The EU will not tax products which are critical for the European economy until/unless there is a viable local alternative.

What I expect the EU to do is to subsidise those fledging local alternatives. And yes, this is against WTO rules, but I guess nobody cares about that anymore.

No other world leader should accept an invite to the WH. Right now it’s 100% an ambush.
