No, no it is not.
Betterridge’s Law of Headlines
While Japan is in the process of accepting foreigners and learning how to adapt, foreigners should learn about limitations and be ready to not have all their needs met.
I moved to a different country when I was 30, and still live in that country. Not all of my needs and way of life are what they were, but I understand that this country doesn’t operate the same way as my home country and I can either deal with the limitations or go back to my home country.
Just curious: from which country to which other country did you move?
USA to third world country.
lateral move
People in the USA don’t need to travel for that, just wait.
Yeah, you’re not allowed to advocate for improvements in any way unless you’re a natural born citizen to whatever country you’re in.
I think you misread my comment. I never said that you can’t advocate for change. I’m just saying that you can expect everything in another country to immediately change to cater towards your preference.
Oh, you said you could either “deal with the limitations or go home.” Does “dealing with them” involve mentioning how things can improve?
They’ve finally figured out the writing on the wall! If they want to fix the muslim problem then they just have to open education up to women and it naturally balances out in a generation or two.
And that’s a legitimate problem in Japan, too, I remember a Tokyo U story that claimed admission scores were much less selective with Males than Females.
I think the problem is just with the formulation "fix the Muslim problem“, personally I’d never use that and I 99% expect something racist as a follow up if I poke enough.
Muslim is not a race. It’s a backwards ass religion that has been taken hostage by extremists for about 70 years. And while there are small-minded folk who just use Muslim to mean “middle eastern brown people”, many just don’t want their communities taken over by religious nuts who time and time again have shown they have no interest in integration, and instead just want to force their beliefs on everyone around them.
Why would you go to Japan to live like a Muslim? I would imagine most Japanese would rather see their population shrink.
Why would you go to Japan to live like a Muslim?
Gotta spread the word of Allah through the power of Anime, I guess.
Japan is too racist to open their borders; they’re even worse than America when it comes to xenophobia.
